The history of JST Group can be traced back to the incorporation of Azlan Letrik & Mekanikal (ALM) in 1980. ALM is an electrical contractor registered with the Energy Commission, the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development, the Construction Industry Development Board and Tenaga Nasional Berhad. Recognising the significant potential of the UPS market and the synergistic benefits to ALM, the ownership rights of the UPS brand name “PowerKinetics” was acquired in June 2003 by ALM’s holding company. Such rights were subsequently assigned to JST Technology Sdn Bhd (JSTT) a company incorporated in 1996. Together JSTT and ALM operate as a comprehensive, one-stop, integrated power protection solutions provider. Today, with the committed sales and marketing team, worldwide network, power specialist and consultants and world-class engineering team, JSTT is able to provide a wide range of modular power protection solutions which cater to a broad spectrum of application markets, including the oil and gas, telecommunication, transportation, entertainment and healthcare industries, government and public infrastructures, educational and financial institutions, spanning across Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and Middle East.
